Terrorists Identified in Pahalgam Attack, NIA Team Joins Investigation
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have revealed the names of terrorists involved in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam. The NIA team has joined the investigation to track down the absconding terrorists.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police have identified the terrorists involved in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam as Adil Hussain Thoker, Hashim Musa alias Suleiman, and Ali Bhai alias Talha Bhai. The police have announced a reward of ₹20 lakh for information on the whereabouts of these absconding terrorists. The attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, mostly tourists, marks the deadliest in the valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019.
A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team has also arrived at the attack site to assist the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the investigation. Led by a Deputy Inspector General-rank officer, the NIA team visited Baisaran, where the tourists were gunned down by terrorists.
The investigators have identified five terrorists involved in the attack, including three Pakistani nationals and two residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent statement, pledged to track down and punish every terrorist and their backers involved in the attack.
Following the attack, a high-level meeting was conducted at the Ministry of Home Affairs, with Home Secretary Govind Mohan, IB Director Tapan Deka, and R&AW Chief Ravi Sinha present. The investigation into the terror attack is ongoing, with agencies contributing their inputs.
