Neurologist claims President Biden shows signs of neurodegeneration
New York-based neurologist Dr. Tom Pitts has assessed President Biden based on his public appearances and claimed that he exhibits classic features of neurodegeneration. Pitts pointed out word-finding difficulties and other symptoms. Concerns arose after another neurologist seen visiting the White House multiple times, but Biden's physician clarified the situation.
Assessment by Neurologist
Dr. Tom Pitts, a neurologist specializing in treating Parkinson's disease, has stated that President Joe Biden shows classic signs of neurodegeneration based on his public appearances. Pitts observed word-finding difficulties and other symptoms that are typical of neurodegenerative conditions.
Concerns over Biden's Health
There were concerns raised after another neurologist, Dr. Kevin Cannard, was seen visiting the White House multiple times in a short period. However, Biden's physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, clarified that Cannard was only conducting regular examinations as part of Biden's annual physicals. O'Connor emphasized that the visits were not related to any deterioration in Biden's health.
Neurological Testing
Dr. Pitts called for both President Biden and former President Donald Trump to undergo a comprehensive four-hour neurological test to assess their cognitive abilities. He believes that this test is essential to evaluate cognitive performance accurately.
In a previous statement, Dr. O'Connor confirmed that President Biden had been evaluated by a neurologist during his annual physical exam. The assessment found no signs of Parkinson's disease, and Biden was deemed fit for duty without any exemptions.
